Ergonomic Workstation Review

This assessment is designed to identify ergonomic risk factors in a workplace that contribute to increased symptoms. It includes a review of the critical job tasks, work areas, and evident risk factors relevant to the individual being assessed.

Additional features:

  • We give the client written information regarding proper set-up, posture, and stretching exercises.
  • Our report outlines recommended changes to work area or task approach.
  • We can provide follow-up to arrange for pre-purchase evaluation of equipment.
  • Follow-up visits ensure modifications are appropriate, if requested.

Ergonomic Risk Analysis

An analysis of the ergonomic risks associated with job tasks and work conditions of a specific job. We review forceful exertions, awkward postures, local contact stresses, vibration, temperature extremes, and repetitive or prolonged activities.

Additional features:

  • This assessment will determine a cause and effect relationship between risk factors and injuries sustained.
  • Recommendations to eliminate or reduce exposure to risk factors can be included.
  • We can provide specific prevention programs.

Home Demands Analysis

A standardized objective analysis of a client’s ability to perform homemaking tasks. It identifies factors that are counterproductive to rehabilitation.

Additional features:

  • Our report includes strategies to increase independence in homemaking tasks.
  • Completed by occupational therapists certified in the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills.
  • Upon request, we provide follow-up services to increase a client’s independence in everyday living as soon as possible post injury/disability.
